Have you heard of the Ricki Lake and Abby Epstein’s Documentary, “The Business of being born”?
Well there is a sequel. I ordered it today. You can watch the trailer below and if you find the girl in the middle of the group at the end incredibly annoying, you’re not alone. Otherwise, can’t WAIT to see. Thank you to Ricki Lake and Abby Epstein for making such an important cause mainstream.
If you’ve seen either of these documentaries, what were your thoughts?

I’ve seen the Business of Being Born and Loved it. I don’t have children YET but I plan to and was so appreciative of the information shared in the first documentary. I think everyone in the world could benefit from watching it, to understand the importance of being your own advocate – in any health related situation, including giving birth.

The Business of Being Born really opened my eyes! Before watching it, I thought my sister in law was NUTS to consider a home birth… I was like most of the population thinking “babies have to be born in a hospital!” I dont have kids yet but I’m a huge proponent of educating yourself on the options available… Thanks for putting your journey out there! 🙂
