A photo journal comprised of my thoughts on motherhood and other life happenings, as well as some of professional work as a photographer. Southern California is home.
Right after we snapped that family photo (I love you, self timer), a homeless chick emerged from behind the gate of the abandoned gas/service station. I’m pretty sure a needle was dangling from her arm.
Palm Springs, I love you but you’re kinda weird.

I lived in 29 Palms for nine months… now THAT was weird, lol.
Haha! I totally clicked on the gas station picture to enlarge it to see if I could spot said needle-lady. No dice.
PS Love that wall in the third from bottom pic! I want to do that in my living room. And Van and my Lola are totally going to go on a date someday… he is TOO cute.
I was all smiling and thinking, “how nice for them a family shot” {I know how rare they are!} and then continued on to read your comment when I spit out my coffee laughing. A family shot with an awesome behind-the-scenes story {literally!} is awesome!
and one of mama and baby, another treat!
don’t you wish wind mills were sprinkled everywhere? I find them oddly relaxing to look at. here’s to alternative energy!

Oh, I believe it.
Yeah, Palm Springs has an odd vibe. You got some great photos though, especially the last one. Love little Van’s tush.

The needle lady was in the back left, I think out of scene. I wish she could have been included ๐
With those big blue eyes, Van would get on great with Lola!

Yes, those wind mills captivate me every time.
And yes, family pics and/or mama baby pics are always a treat ๐
Self timer is the best! Must remember to use it more. Your self timer image is amazing!
