A photo journal comprised of my thoughts on motherhood and other life happenings, as well as some of professional work as a photographer. Southern California is home.
For quite some time, I’ve been admiring your photography work from a distance. After looking at these wonderful photos, I had to comment. You are very talented and have quite the eye for capturing unique shots. Please keep on doing what you do and sharing with those of us who admire your work. Thanks for sharing.
I get butterflies when I view your work. True story. You’re that good (I know, I tell you this all the time…don’t get creeped out). I got married there! The court house or whatever it’s called. Except we didn’t have a photographer (we kinda eloped, I guess). How I wish we at least had a photographer (um, you!). Your work is truly art and I can’t get enough of it. You’ll one day find an email from me requesting photos (gotta save up, but it’s a goal of mine). You continue to inspire me and I love that about your space here 🙂 -Misty
That’s just about the sweetest thing ever. I think any artist, whether it’s photography or painting or sculpting, is always insecure about their craft because it’s always in a process, if that makes sense (it’s never a final product because we’re always growing and changing and evolving). So when I hear that something I’m doing resonates with someone else, it means a lot.
On another note, these guys eloped too. Or at least it started as that. They ultimately allowed a few family members to be there, but it was super intimate and sweet. And the court house there is gorgeous.
You have a wonderful eye and I absolutely adore your use of light. Wedding photography never really appealed to me but if I could shoot weddings like you do then I’d be totally up for it. x
Love all these! They tell such a cool story of their day.
It was such a fun day… right down to g’ma puffin’ the J.
Amazing pictures. You captured the day so beautifully!
Thanks, J.

Ha! I used to think the same thing, but I’m really enjoying it. Thanks for the kind words and encouragement!
