Chug a’ chug a choo choo. I can’t believe how fast these weeks roll right into the next. I had a preconceived notion that documenting each week of this pregnancy would slow it down, as documenting requires some sort of pause and reflection. Not the case. It’s more like pause, reflect, and oh my lord, time to pause and reflect again?! I hate this picture of myself, by the way, but Willy gives me about three shots to get it right. So this is all I got. Ba Humbug.
I have sad news to share this week. My back up OB, who I talked about here has passed away. It’s an incredible loss for his family, friends, and patients not to mention a loss for the entire birthing world. I will remember Dr. Kline for his support of a woman’s right to chose a birth at home as well as his patience and gentle soul. You can scan through this facebook page where others have shared their thoughts and condolences. You’ll quickly see just why he was so special.

Ahh we are literally a week apart! Your pick is beautiful as all of them are. And I was rolling when I read willy only gives me 3 to get it right! It’s hard for me to get mine to concentrate on taking a pic he has add. My belly just ballooned in the last three days it’s crazy! Have u felt any kicks yet? I can’t wait for mine but none so far. You are still so skinny! Anyway if u have a girl and hopper grows outta his close please Pick Me for hand me downs! I’m so sorry to hear about your OB. I can’t imagine what I would do if I lost mine. What hospital is he from? Did u deliver hoops at Northridge? Lemmie know if you have any good tips
I’m so excited for you Lisa! There is nothing so special as being a mom 🙂 I’ve been feeling flutters on and off for the last few weeks, but they say you feel it much sooner with your second. You’ll feel them soon! My belly ballooned out a lot sooner with the second as well. Your belly is very visible. I’ll keep you in mind for hand me downs 🙂 Congrats on your boy, they are the best. I delivered Hooper at Cedar’s just because that happened to be where our back up OB had privliges. Where are you planning to deliver? I’ve got loads of great tips… whatcha lookin’ for??
