A photo journal comprised of my thoughts on motherhood and other life happenings, as well as some of professional work as a photographer. Southern California is home.
A portrait of my husband, once a week, every week, in 2013.
My husband. Aka the man who will do a belly flop for the sake of your portrait series. I love the man, I do.
As for last week, I loved both the photo and editing of Abigail’s photo. I’m obviously drawn to the father son moment as well. I mean his little hands on his Papa’s back, get out… right? So sweet.
Nice shot and thank for your sharing. I am sure I will share your blog with all of my friend. At the same time, I will also like to invite you to visit my blog at http://1newbornbabyclothing.blogspot.com/
I just wanted to leave you a note (I always reply to comments, but unsure if people ever come back) to say thank you. thank you for being a nurse in the valley. thank you for your tender heart and the love you must have to care not only so much for your family, but for all your patients, good days and bad. thank you for taking the time to think about the lost and the grief so many people felt this past friday. thank you for thinking about us who were waiting to hug our children again and smell their sweet hair. thank you for taking the time to write something so heartfelt on my blog.
every time I pass through the valley, whether I am driving home to visit family in CO, or for other adventures in our life here in Southern California, I will forever more feel like I have a kindred spirit, a mother who knows and understands, way out there in this vast tattered world we live in. thank you. thank you. xxoo

Great action shot. Only one problem, now Niles wants to try the same stunt!
Nailed it! Love the filter too. x
