Van: Has been puttin’ the terrible in the terrible twos.
Hooper: Had his first two days of preschool this week and is all kinds of growing-up-way-too-fast.
Jimmie: Our newest addition, as those of you who follow me on Instagram already know. He deserves his own post, which he will get just as soon as I can. But, he’s lovely. Having another boxer weighs heavy on my heart in the best and the worst kind of way. It’s hard to explain.

Van: Made a home by putting sticks in the sand. Also, is in need of a haircut.
Hooper: No matter where we go, he goes right into work mode. Here, collecting sticks. Also in need of a haircut. And a bath.

Van: Just started riding a bike a few weeks ago, when we finally lowered the seat so his feet could reach.
Hooper: Got a new bike (on Van’s birthday) so Van could have his old one. Perks of being the older brother, I suppose.

Hooper: Started a little gym class and after a trial run that involved tears and screaming, this week was picture perfect.

Hooper: Finally wore a hole into the bottom of his moccasins. I had bought them used and they’ve lasted forever and I’m bummed that they might have met their final days…
